You can also visit the Blue Raven Gallery and other artist's studios, the Farmer's Market, go souvenir shopping, swim or hike at the Sooke Potholes Park, East Sooke Park, Juan de Fuca Trail, West Coast Trail, and Kludakh Trail. In the winter, San Juan Ridge offers cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Or, for a true West Coast experience, go beachcombing at French Beach, China Beach and Botanical Beach.

Sooke's performing arts community stages events year-round, ranging from theatre to rock, choral, jazz and orchestral concerts.
