The Artist Cottage, and Potlatch Suite are each self-contained, have private entrances, decks, and include a kitchenette and ensuite bathroom. Both accommodations are only a short stroll from the beach, through our beautiful gardens.

During your stay, visit the Blue Raven Gallery, where you can see us creating Native art and fashions. As well, our retreat is only a few minutes drive or bike from the shopping and restaurants of Sooke, and hiking on the Galloping Goose Trail.

Potlatch Suite

The bright, sunny and spacious Potlatch Suite is self-contained with a kitchenette, three-piece bathroom, dining and sitting areas, and a private entrance. French doors open onto a small deck, where our guests can enjoy the gardens, and Ocean view. The room includes a queen size bed with down duvet and a pullout couch for extra guests.

The design theme for this suite is derived from the traditional Potlatch of the Northwest Coast Native people. During a ceremony that included storytelling and elaborate dances, they gave gifts of kitchenware, blankets, lamps, chests and food to their guests. This tradition ensured the continuation of the history and culture of the people, and is reflected in the suite’s furnishings.

Artist Cottage

This bright, sunny and quaint English style cottage is tucked into the woods, and is only moments from the beach. The veranda is surrounded by gardens and overlooks a Totem pole carved to welcome our guests. The Blue Raven Cottage is self-contained with a kitchenette, three-piece bathroom, dining and sitting areas, and a private entrance. The suite has a double bed with a down duvet, as well as a pullout couch for extra guests.

Policies and Information

A two night minimum booking is required.

Rates are based on an occupancy of 2 persons.

There is a charge of $20 per additional guest per night.

Children under 10 are welcome free of charge.

A cleaning fee of $50 per week, or portion thereof, for the Artist Cottage, and $75 per week, or portion thereof, for the Potlatch Suite is applied to all bookings.

Rates do not include applicable taxes.

Weekly and Monthly rates are available.

No smoking.

Well-behaved small pets are welcome (there is a resident dog and cat).

We have a number of items available upon request to make your stay more enjoyable, including mountain bikes, a barbeque, a portable CD stereo, television, VCR, many books and a hammock. Please ask regarding availability.
